Become a Member

What to Expect

To become a fire police officer, apply at your local fire company, undergo interviews and background checks, then be nominated and sworn in as a fire police officer by your municipality. Complete a 16-hour basic course, plus ongoing training either in person or online. For more information, click the button below.
