Scene Safety
Fire police ensure safety by managing traffic, securing perimeters, and controlling crowds at emergency scenes, protecting responders and the public.

Crowd Control
Fire police maintain order at incidents, directing crowds, securing areas, and ensuring public safety and traffic flow during emergencies and township events.



What to Expect
To become a fire police officer, apply at your local fire company, undergo interviews and background checks, then be nominated and sworn in as a fire police officer by your municipality.
